Gah, I got tagged by HuntressX! Here goes:
Rules:
1. Publish [copy] these procedures.
2. You must state 8 things about yourself.
3. When you have ended the 'journal' you must choose 8 people and tag him/her.
4. Then it is necessary to go to his/her page and say to them that they have been tagged.
Hokay, eight facts about myself!
1. My family comes from Mississippi but moved to Texas about three generations ago. We were Welsh before that.
2. I have an ancestor who served under George Washington at Valley Forge around 1777, explaining my genetic aversion to the cold.
3. My favorite thing in the world is steak. Nice and juicy and rare and cooked with garlic. Excuse me a moment, I seem to be drooling.
4. Before getting totally sucked into Avatar, I hadn't done any real fan art or writing in nearly eight years! 0.0
5. I started drawing in high school with crayola coloring pencils, drawing super heroes. The results were not pretty.
6. Soon after I graduated, I moved on to Prismacolor markers. But I was using them on normal photocopy paper, so the results were, again, not pretty.
7. I started using Photoshop to clean up and color my drawings years later in college. I'd actually been using Photoshop in my art projects there for more than a year before I finally realized that I could save a hell of a lot of money on Prismacolor markers if I just scanned my stuff in and colored it digitally!
8. The only thing I learned at college was that I was good with computers. That epiphany cost thousands of dollars.
And now, the tagging!
AkimiK, Azulera, Erden, General-Blue, JoshLamont, The Doofus, MizunoTohru, and WizardOfKitty! Ha-hah!
Hope none of them are re-tags. >.>

Anyways, it was cool to learn this stuff! Now I must do one...

"Roy Mustang looks dead sexy... in a miniskirt!"
*sniffle* So true.
>.> So... you owe me two days of my life I'll never get back now. But I kid the General-Blue.
As far as the epiphany being worth the price of admission, I'm torn to give an answer. I make my living off IT Support now, so it was obviously a realization that's shaped my life ever since. But at the same time I blew two years' worth of tuition for absolutely no realistic gain, lost my standing at a school that's very hard to get into and wasted a golden opportunity to get a Bachelors. Leaving the course plan was the right move, going into computers was the right move. But leaving the school and jumping straight into the tech industry with just an Associates under my belt...
Yeah. Not the right move. Heh. Live and learn, huh?
